Alison Hazen Olsen is a winner of the Music Teacherís National Association Woodwind Flutist Competition and the University of California-Santa Barbaraís Concerto Competition. Currently working on her Masterís degree at the University of Texas at Austin studying with Marianne Gedigian, she has studied with previous ASB guest artist Jim Walker, as well as such flute luminaries as James Galway and William Bennett, among others.
SubitoBones is a trombone quartet formed in the fall of 2009, comprised of undergraduate students attending the Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music at The University of Texas at Austin. Members are Josh Balleza (Tenor), Matt Carr (Tenor), Alex Glen (Tenor), and Graham Gibson (Bass).
